Dear Saba (aka my big 6 month old)

Have you noticed that you are actually 6 months and 2 weeks and still there is no letter to you? That's what happens when mommy is insanely busy and can't decide which pictures best epitomize your 6th month. But, alas, soon you will be 7 months with a whole new set of photos, so I figure I better say something! Your 6th month was a very big month for you - You are so much more independent then you ever were before! You can even sit on your Horsey (named Rider) all by yourself! You are still little enough that you tolerate all of the little outfits I put you in and all of the "hats" I deem necessary for your head.
Yes, people look at me a bit funny when I snap away in the aisles of Target, but we don't care - especially when you look oh-so-squeezable.
This past month was your first time to go swimming! You weren't completely sold on the water (I admit, it was a bit cold) but you seemed to enjoy splashing around in Mommy's armsAnd you especially liked the Grandma-hug-with-a-towel at the end of the whole experience! This past month you have also started eating a little bit. Your current favorite thing to eat is Aunt Megan's homemade applesauce (we like to think that she started her whole canning endeavor just to give you an awesome "first food" - Thanks Aunt Megan)!Every day as you grow - I get to watch you gain your own little personality - I am so blessed that you are my little girl!
