Saba's grandparent withdrawl issues
Here's Saba last Sunday. Do you see her? She's right there all nestled in between her Grandma Didi and Papa Bruce - all warm and snugly, not a care in the world - that's because she hadn't yet received the memo that they were leaving her for a week and a half for a vacation in Alaska.
She's not amused.
She is especially not amused because now if I want to get anything done I have to try "other" methods to soothe her. So far, a vibrating chair and a pacifier have had absolutely no effect. Only a filthy house and an annoyed mother seems to lull Saba to sleep - and as soon as I try to put her down to do something about said house or said annoyance she proceeds to wake up and look at my arms and/or breast longingly...she's good at this game.

Her stunned look might suggest that she is not ready for this hand-holding activity but in actuality she's just wondering why she's not being fed every hour of the day!

We miss you all very much, especially the cuddles from our little Saba...who looks like she has put on a pound since we have been away.
Much love from the gorgeous state of Alaska!
Uh oh, we have that at times...wanting to eat every half hour or hour. We just got that chair a couple of weeks ago. She thinks its just okay. She is quite fond of her swing though. We have the Fisher Price rainforest swing that swings in two directions. She is fond of right to left right now. :)
