A little henna + a little belly (okay, a lotta belly) = a whole lot of blessing

It was a shower AND a blessing! This means that we get to do the cool hippie stuff, but we also get to open presents! On Saturday my sister Megan and my Mom threw a shower for me that was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the actual shower stuff with my camera (so that will have to come later) but I did get belly pictures on my camera.

Everybody at my shower had the chance to draw on my stomach with henna - they drew flowers, birds, crosses...anything that was inspirational and expressed good wishes for the birth and the baby's health.It was a really beautiful shower with lots of warm wishes (and much needed stuff for the baby)! We're definitely getting to the point where we are beyond ready to have our little girl!
