The black hole known as the third trimester

Where have I been? Well I've been swirling down a black hole called the third trimester which means that I basically stare at a calendar all day long and try to make the days go faster so that I can finally meet the baby! Keeping me company in this black hole are two adorable children who have come to visit and play with me. And by "play" I mean that they climb all over my belly acting as though it is Mt. Kilimanjaro and that they need to conquer this mountain on an hourly basis - I pretty much draw the line at them implanting a flag in my belly-button, but that doesn't stop Emery from "carbing up" for his hourly hike. When Emery is not tormenting his new cuz Saba he's pretty busy being a boy and learning how to do new things (when his sister will let him).
When Ana is not busy petting my belly or telling me that my baa baas are big she can usually be found doing something slightly domestic...or going pee pee in the potty (her two new favorite things).
Not only can Ana now make a salad (almost) all by herself, but she's also a whizz at licking frosting off of the the electric beaters!
I believe that these two skills are all one needs in life...as long as all you're willing to eat is lettuce and frosting - and those two things pretty much cancel each other out so I think it works out perfectly!
