So, today we finalized all of the Wedding stuff with our reception site. I thought that we had everything figured out...then came the final hour when we had to give our numbers and I found out that pretty much half of the people that RSVP'd on Dereje's side didn't have plane tickets!!! A week and a half before the wedding tells me that it's probably not going to happen. So, Dereje, last minute had to call and find out who's coming and who isn't...all while we're driving (the wrong way...directionally, not physically) down the freeway trying to find our Photographer's office and visit him. PHEWWW... at least we crossed a couple of other things off of our list!
We ended the day with a two hour Ethiopian dinner at the restaurant that is going to cater our Rehearsal dinner. It was AWESOME. The food was great, and the woman that runs the restaurant had adorable children running around, so it gave Ana something to do. Dereje and I loved looking at her children because she is married to an American, and we love to play the game "what are our children going to look like." We got some really cute pictures of the kids playing and everyone eating, but that will have to come later - Oh - Alex flys in tonight, so we're off to the airport soon to pick him up! This time I will go the right way (both directionally and physically) on the freeway.
