Dereje called to say that he's arrived to the United States!
I was so excited to hear from him! All that pent up energy waiting for Dereje to call and tell me that he was here safe and sound needed to be let out at in some way. So, Ana and I decided to slide to help expend some our our energy.
Needless to say...we're just ecstatic to have Dereje here (even though he's in D.C. and I won't see him for a little while - at least he's in the United States and hanging out with his brother).
Ana and I have decided that until we get to see Dereje (Uncle Dereje to Ana) we're going to slide as much as we can so that we don't have to think about how much we miss him and can't wait to see him!
