One of Saba's favorite times is when her Grandma Didi gives her a bath.
You see, Grandma Didi takes the time to fill up a bathtub (or a sink) and gives it some bubbles, a wash cloth, and some cooing to make getting clean well worth Saba's time. I, on the other hand, yell to Dereje to bring her to me while I am in the shower where I hose her down with little or no ceremony. Saba likes Grandma's way better!
Of course, Grandma Didi also takes the time to swaddle her in a towel and gives her an elaborate massage with lotion before dressing her for the night and then handing her over to Papa Bruce for a little entertainment after her "spa" treatment.
Whereas Dereje and I wrap her in a burlap sack and set her outside for coyotes to lick all of the excess water off of her (oddly enough I don't have a picture of that)! So, basically I have no idea why Saba prefers baths from her Grandma - If you ask me she's being awfully fickle!
