This weekend, Dereje got to demonstrate what an awesome daddy he is going to be. My cousin and his family came to Phoenix for a short visit; which provided us with some much needed kiddo time (Dereje and I had yet to meet the kids, so we were very excited about getting to spend the weekend with them). Dereje was able to spend a lot of the time practicing with the carriers that we have bought in anticipation of our little one. Here he is with the Mei Tai...

Now, there was more than just one child for Dereje to practice his daddy skills on...there was also a little two year old toddler who was constantly vying for Dereje's attention! This required Dereje to play a little foosball, practice his crayon coloring skills, and read a multitude of books (preferably in a sing-song voice).
When it comes to being a daddy Dereje is going to be, by far, one of the best! And as for our weekend...it was great spending it with such a fantastic family!
