Dereje I spent this Easter with friends at the
Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

The sanctuary was a little bit of a let down because we didn't necessarily see Rhino, but we did get to see some Zebra, Impala, and other things like Warthogs.
We did see Rhino through the binoculars, but they were pretty far of…and seemingly uninterested in the tourist types.

One neat story that our game drive guide told us was something that I have never heard before.
When we saw the Zebras our guide started telling us about why they are the national animal.
Our guide said that the reason is that on the zebras the black and white stripes live in harmony and that's the same way Botswana has always been – the blacks and the whites have always lived in harmony.

I've never heard this explanation before but I really liked it!
The best part of all of it though was hanging out with good friends…and their 3 month old baby!
