About six years ago my family was up in Victoria Falls where we started a safari adventure. At that time we had decided to do all of the crazy stuff...White Water Rafting down the Zambezi....Bunji jumping...whatnot. So this time around my father and I decided that we had to do something! So, here is what we did:
First we signed our life away
Then we made sure we geared up...putting all of the straps in all of the right places
Then we rubbed some unnamed idol for good luck
Then we did the flying fox
Flying Fox: "Leap into thin air and fly horizontally for 200 metres while suspended 120 metres high on a static cable."
Then my dad and I did a zipline together
Zip Line: "Hurtle 425 metres across the Batoka Gorge at a speed fo 106 Km/hr on a static cable."
Then the Gorge swing!
Gorge Swing (this one got my heart pumping): "70 metre free-fall into a 95 metre long swing over the swirling Zambezi 120 metres below."
Then we praised the lord that we lived through the whole thing
Why did we do all three? Why because there was a discount, of course!

Hey Manda, we miss you! Did you see the election results? Debbi and John Cooney won!!! Patti beat Mary Logan and Bonnie Mager beat Phil Harris if you can believe that. Can't wait to see more of your photos. Hope you are having lots of fun with your family.
