So that's my plants in their lovely splendor. It's true that absolutely everything is growing in this spring smelling house...especially my stomach which, I promise, will get it's very own picture very soon....I just think that if we give it another weekend it will be even more impressive.

Spring is definitely in the air...or maybe that's the spring breeze scent I just sprayed all over the house.
Either way...the flowers are abloomin' over this way...and the sun is showing it's lovely self (even if the wind also tends to show it's ugly mug every now and then just to let us know that it's still March). Remember those tulip bulbs that I received from my Mom on Valentine's Day? Well, I dare say that they have become beautiful grown up tulips...and, are sadly, on their way out. Exhibit A (try not to judge the fake birds flying in the background...they're like my own personal scarecrows that just serve to scare the heck out of me every time I turn around and think that I am being swooped by a momma beast protecting her tiny little babies).
Never fear though! Once my tulips have truly gone to their proverbial bed of tulips I do have a bit of replacement to focus my attention on. I swear this thing grows almost as fast as the tulips and definitely captures my attention....it's my new succulent garden:
Got that at Costco....in case any one's wondering. Sometimes I think that my blog is a personal plug for everyone to run out and get a Costco membership. Just in case you're not quite changing out of your sweatpants and grabbing your purse for the membership fee take a look at this little number:
Yep...got the pot at Costco (the succulents came from my Mother who has been growing these guys for quite some time...just for a little bit of variety lets say that she got them from Trader Joes (I have no idea where she got them)).
