Love those December Beach Days

Our last day in San Diego was spent ignoring the fact that it was 60-something degrees and embarking on a beach-day adventure.
Emery, Saba, and Ana had a ball playing in the sand.

Then Saba and Dereje decided to get a closer look at the ocean.

Before we could bat an eye Dereje had a band of cohorts ready and willing to get wet.
Then THIS started happening:

Of course, there were tears when it was time to leave - but we thought it would be best to leave before hypothermia truly set in.
