The rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding was fantastic.
Dereje's family had brought Ethiopian clothing for everyone...so, in dress, we had lots of Ethiopians there! Here's my Dad and

Here's
Dereje's brother and his sister-in law along with my sister, Megan. It's pretty easy to give gifts when you only have one groomsman (Best Man) and one bridesmaid (Matron of Honor)!
I love that my brother and my dad are the bookends in this next picture...they totally blend
Lastly, here's a picture of
Dereje and me with my grandparents. They both did a fine job of eating with their hands and drinking honey wine!
It was such a good time...lots of rain, lots of merriment, and lots of Ethiopian food eating!
